We have it on good authority, that the two-hour television prequel to season 7 will be shot in Africa, now this was rumoured to be the plan for Season 7 but due to budget constraints it was cancelled. Manny Coto (Writer/Co exec producer) has now confirmed that production are scouting for a place to film the two-hour prequel which will bridge the gap between season 6 and 7.
Both Manny Coto and Ausiello have both confirmed this. Here's what Ausiello said when asked about Season 7.
"Your in luck, 'cause one of my CTU moles has just dropped a major scoopbit on my lap. Remember when i told you last summer that 24 execs were forced to scrap plans to shoot a chunk of Season 7 on location in Africa due to budgetary concerns on the part of Fox? Well, apparently someone found some extra dough lying around, because i hear producers are currently scouting locations in Africa to film scenes for this fall's two-hour prequel movie" - Michael Ausiello (tvguide)
Well thats some really cool news and seems like after such a long wait for new 24, we will be in for some good tv. Dont forget to check back here as the site will be relauching on June 1st with all new content and design.

Here it is... The Season 6 DVD Cover!
4Season6R2CoverOfficial
Here is the Season 6 Region 2 (UK) cover, the cover looks amazing as im sure you will agree, the colour scheme of the logo has changed and they have used my favourite promotional shot from Season 6, the one of Kiefer at the side. This image is now being used to promote the boxset at Amazon.co.uk and Play.com and various retailers, the official rating of the boxset is 15, as confirmed by the BBFC and the release date is October 1st.
